COMMONS

The Commons is our central gathering place at Grace Point. It houses a full kitchen and our main dining hall, as well as a sitting room that includes a selection of indoor and outdoor game supplies and the First Aid station. A large, screened-in porch with dozens of rocking chairs offers a splendid view of Chamberlain Cove and is a great place to sit and relax. The upstairs of the Commons runs the length of the building and houses table games such as billiards, foosball, and air hockey.

ST. PAUL CHAPEL

Dedicated in 2009, St. Paul Chapel is situated near the Point with a wonderful view of Watts Bar Lake. A very flexible facility, the Chapel is a multi-purpose space for camps, retreats, and conferences.

THE RETREAT HOUSE

Originally the private residence of the former property owner, the Retreat House is tucked away on top of the ridge on the Grace Point property. It features an outdoor swimming pool downstairs and a screened-in porch upstairs with a spectacular view of the lake (rocking chairs included). A spacious gathering area upstairs is perfect for meals and meetings with a comfortable sitting area and gas fire place. There is a full kitchen upstairs. A balcony overlooks the main room and houses a library that is available to all guests in the Retreat House. A smaller gathering room downstairs offers a wood-burning fire place and a comfortable sitting area.

The Retreat House sleeps a total of 26 people in bunk-style accommodations. Two upstairs bedrooms offer 6 beds (three bunks) each, plus an extra bed each in a side room. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms. Three bedrooms downstairs offer 4 beds (two bunks) each and share a hallway bathroom.

TREE HOUSES

Grace Point offers two tree house facilities: the Girls’ Tree House and the Boys’ Tree House. Each building sleeps 24 (20 campers and 4 staff). Two main bunk rooms, one on each side of the cabin with exterior access, sleep 10 each and offer full bath facilities. The main room s are separated by staff facilities in the center, each offering two beds and a half-bath. Both buildings are winterized and offer central heat and air.
