Jim Muir Kamp 4 Kids and the Camp Billy Johnson Scholarship
Giving back to the children and youth of East Tennessee
We are so excited to announce that in 2018, we at Grace Point will be combining our ministries into one community in Christ!
For years, Grace Point outreach camps Camp Billy Johnson and Jim Muir Kamp 4 Kids have served hundreds of children and youth throughout East Tennessee. It is through our outreach that many campers are able to experience a week at camp surrounded in love and the Holy Spirit.
As our communities continue to grow and change, we seek to adapt so that we may best fit the needs of our body in Christ.
Our goal is simple: one. One in Christ, one in each other, and one in Grace Point. It is through this goal that we have decided to serve our community by combining our camp communities, while continuing to serve our campers through the Camp Billy Johnson camper scholarship, available for campers in need.
In 2018, Grace Point will continue the outreach camp approach with Jim Muir Kamp 4 Kids, serving children and youth with an incarcerated family member.
While our structure is changing, our ministry is not. We strive to provide a comfortable and nurturing environment for campers from all backgrounds while providing them with opportunities for leadership, team building and personal growth.
In the last 5 years, our campers have grown into some of Grace Point's most involved leaders. It is through these opportunities that many campers transition into counselor roles, and serve as role models for campers of all ages.
We depend on the support of the Grace Point community to make these opportunities possible. If you would like to make a donation to support the Camp Billy Johnson scholarship and Jim Muir Kamp 4 Kids, please contact our Executive Director Brad Jones at email@example.com.
If you know a camper that may qualify for these opportunities, please contact Gracie Dover at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for supporting us in our ministry!
